3-Piece Knocked Down Drywall Frame for Stud Walls – Commercial Hollow Metal Door Frame
This knocked-down drywall frame is designed for interior stud walls and can be used with steel or wood doors. Suitable for light- to heavy-duty applications in commercial and institutional buildings, these frames are installed in rough openings after the wall has been constructed and finished. They are supplied with KD (knock-down) corners for fast and efficient installation.

Example
For a 3′0″ × 7′0″ door and frame, the rough opening should be 38″ × 85″.
Note: For fire-rated openings, drywall must extend at least 1/2″ into the frame.
