Mineral Core Fire-Rated Wood Doors for Commercial and Institutional Applications
Architectural-grade wood fire doors are designed to help control the spread of fire and smoke for up to 1-1/2 hours (90 minutes). They are commonly installed in openings between corridors and offices, closets, storage areas, stairwells, mechanical rooms, or any space that penetrates a fire barrier wall. Flush mineral core construction features a bonded and sanded gypsum core for dependable fire resistance. Fire-rated doors must be self-closing and equipped with positive latching, and both the frame and hardware must carry the appropriate fire label. For 3-hour fire ratings, metal doors are required.

*Rotary Natural Birch veneer features a fine texture and a distinctly irregular grain pattern, often highlighted by light-colored sapwood interspersed with darker heartwood. These natural color contrasts may appear more pronounced or more subtle once the veneer is finished, so they should be carefully considered when selecting Natural Birch. Machined wood doors are non-returnable.
